Some say that the show 24 hours which was on for 8 seasons only really lasted 8 days. Funny, it seems longer. Some say this was season 9. Okay. Well any who…
In the beginning when weasels were forced to crawl through poison gas or when Jack had to save us all from Nuclear bomb going off it was pretty exciting.
But lately, when it seems that Jack’s killing sprees have become, endless, pointless and meaningless, the show lacked zing. Not enough torture maybe?
Gone are the days when people used argue about whether Jack’s torture methods were necessary, moral, ethical or right.
Running around killing people who were only incidentally connected with the death of a woman who you have only known for a few hours seems peculiar. Kind of reminds of one of those “I know what you did” horror movies where lots people get killed for little or no reason.
It appears that the writers and maybe the main actor did get burned out. It certainly seems that way when you resort to have Chloe who looks about as stealthy as a bear on roller skates acting as both head of CTU and a field operative.
I do admire Jack’s precision with knocking people out. I think that if anyone tried that crap in real life, many of the recipients would wind up either dead or paralyzed for life.
I used to enjoy the show but I fell off the wagon when they stared killing off interesting co-stars.
And so Jack skulks off into the sunset, bloody and unbowed. Bouyed by his motto: In torture we trust. Disappointed that his streak is at an end: No one who either loved or trusted him died in the last episode. Darn. Well, you can’t win them all.

7 Ways to Get your Fat Butt Fired!
By poetryman69
1. Bad mouthing the boss to your friends and confidants. I guarantee that someone in your close circle of “friends” is not what he appears.
2. Running a personal business on company time. Look Bozo, if your boss is actually paying you then he actually expects you to work on stuff for him most of the time.
3. Bad mouthing your coworkers. This kind of behavior could even get you sued if you insult the wrong coworker in the wrong way at the wrong time.
4. Getting drunk on company time. Showing up drunk is not a good idea either. No booze for lunch sport.
5. Getting high on company time. Showing up high to work. One of the best reasons not to do this was in a movie I saw once. I think it was called the Ghosts of Mars. Dude was so high he cut all the fingers off of one of his hands and did not feel a thing.
6. Getting drunk, high, insensitive, or insulting on your own time. Sorry Charlie but lots of people have gotten canned for what they put on their blogs on their own time or even the kind of beer they drank on their own time. And what if they do a random drug test Monday Morning!!! They own you!!! Don’t forget it.
7. Showing up late with lame excuses.
