Just in case congress doesn’t give Chairman Obama the kill switch for the internet, he has the next best thing. When you are buying your groceries Obama can appear on the monitor next to you so you can’t avoid him. He can appear on your radio and TV. He can declare the “emergency”–you know, he lost his socks or something–and it’s all Obama everywhere all time. Worship our Dear Leader. Worship Now!!!

Give Obama the Kill Switch for the Internet?

One of the more peculiar things to come out of the unrest in Egypt is that some government officials still want to give President Barack Hussein Obama a single switch that he could use to kill the internet.
It is astonishing how much some of the people in our government hate our civil rights, liberties and freedoms. It is scary how much they want to make Obama a communist dictator who can force us to buy and sell whatever the communist manifesto would have us buy and sell and how much they want to suppress our right of dissent by allowing Obama to shut down the internet whenever he thinks we are being “uncivil” or whatever the hell the rationale would be behind letting Obama shut down the internet.
There are only a couple of scenarios that I can conceive of that would make any sense as far as fearing what is happening on the internet and I fear the stupidity of the bribed news media and the fascist boots of Marxists in government more than the scenarios.
Some of the scenarios might be:
1) A truly virulent virus is spreading that destroys or commandeers computers on contact. Merely landing on a page or opening a seemingly innocent email spreads the virus without downloading or running anything.
2) Some one has figured out how to run Stuxnet through the internet. Now anything that would be truly dangerous should it be taken over by a foreign power should not be on the internet. But if you look around the world you know that some stuff is on the internet that shouldn’t be and that there must be a whole lot of banks and financial institutions that are wired. Suppose there was a virus that wasn’t stopped by encryption or firewalls. If you want to get truly devious, suppose someone stuck some wicked backdoor into every batch of computer chips in the world. This could create an undetected and perhaps undetectable vulnerability.
Even in the face of these problems, I am more worried about the loss of liberties to the government than scary things over the internet.
Why is it that the government is always telling me that my freedoms and liberties are the problem? I think the real problem is that both George Bush and Barack Hussein Obama left the southern border wide open to narco terrorists and illegal aliens.
