Naming the Moon

Wolf Moon (Jan)
The first Full moon of a new year is called the Wolf Moon. This is January Moon.
Some other names are Holiday Moon, Old Moon, Ice Moon, Cold Moon,Cooking Moon, Moon of the Terrible, Quiet Moon,
Storm Moon. With the ice and cold outside and hungry wolves at the door you can see how some of the names came to be.

Snow Moon (Feb)
The second moon of the new year, the February Moon has many names as well:
Hunger Moon,Storm Moon,Candles Moon,Ice Moon,Storm Moon, Snow Moon, Trapper’s Moon,Budding Moon,Bony Moon, Little Famine Moon, Moon of the Raccoon, Moon When Tree pop.
Clearly not ever culture agrees on which moon is the Snow Moon or which one is the Ice Moon. But it does seem that some cultures who grew weary of winter think of February as the hungry time when they need Spring to hurry up and get here.

China on a Budget

How does the small business man do business in China? A small business may not have enough cash flow to afford to go to China and prospect for business. There are two things that could make it easier to do business in China. One is having a go between that speaks both English and Chinese in both the United States and China. The other thing is a business group wherein money and resources from several small businesses can be pooled. That way you can send a few people over to China to represent the interests of several businesses. Moreover these representatives will not be tasked with figuring out who is who and what is what in foreign language. They will deal with a go between company that has in its ranks MBAs who speak Chinese and English and who have business contacts in China.
One could envision such a company running international trade shows and having knowledge in such matters as international accounting and international business recruitment and human resources. They could have expertise in running international job fairs where they would be looking for interpreters, translators , MBA and accountants adept at reading international profit and loss balance sheets.
As far as the running of trade shows, the company would be skilled at translating the features and benefits of products and services into foreign languages. They must know how to make a pitch in a way that does not offend local values and customs and how and when to close a sale.
