I was having trouble with an online job application which gave me the following helpful error message:
“You must select ALL possible values in the section Place of Residence.”
All required values might work. Or even all sections marked with an Asterisk “*” .
But ALL possible values strikes me as being written by someone for whom English is not their first language.
Except in a mathematical context, I rarely come across someone asking me to enumerate all possible values of anything. That sort of thing might take several lifetimes….
